Pedagogical Relationships and Identities in Research Incubators: Reconceptualizing Research Training for Language Teachers

This article reports on a case study that analyzed pedagogical relationships and teacher identities in research incubators. Conducted over two years an English teaching program at Colombian private university, the included semi-structured interviews with four incubator coordinators focus groups eight students. We found mentoring incubators nurtures attitudes competencies crucial to students’ construction of their identity as researchers. From results our research, we built theoretical model describes education around axes power affect. Finally, draw some implications about epistemological shift from knowledge-centered knower-centered collaborative approaches training.
